TRANSFORMING HEALTHCARE
3:6 Wellness Clinic believes that the traditional healthcare system often neglects individuals' overall well-being. The clinic's owner, Britt Smith, APRN, FNP-C, noticed a trend where the current system prioritizes quantity over quality. Insurance companies dictate care based solely on an "illness model." To address this issue, 3:6 Wellness Clinic is committed to shifting the focus towards a comprehensive "health model."
At 3:6 Wellness Clinic, our approach goes beyond simply prescribing medication and waiting for patients to get sick. We prioritize proactive health management, focusing on preventive measures to help our patients achieve and maintain optimal health. By emphasizing healthy lifestyle choices, personalized wellness plans, and early intervention, we aim to empower our patients to take control of their health and well-being. Our goal is to support our patients in living their healthiest lives possible so they can avoid illness and feel their best every day. The clinic emphasizes the importance of building personal relationships with patients, recognizing that individualized care is crucial in supporting their health journeys.

OWNER
BRITT SMITH, APRN-FNP-C
Britt's passion is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that involves developing a personal relationship with her patients to serve them better in their health journeys. Throughout her personal health journey, she found that a holistic approach to wellness—mental, physical, and spiritual—was the key to her battle with colon cancer.
In 2021, Britt was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, with no family history of colorectal cancer. After undergoing a lower anterior colon resection and several rounds of chemotherapy, which were very taxing on her body, she looked for an alternative treatment and future preventive cancer measures. Today, Britt applies a holistic approach to her lifestyle to ensure long-term health, including meditation, prayer, daily exercise, a modified plant-based diet, and mindfulness. She now understands that neglecting your health and living under high stress can suppress your immune system and health responses, which can cause disease processes like cancer.
Britt received her Master of Science in Nursing from UT-Medical Branch—Galveston, Texas. She is also a certified medical examiner for FMCSA (DOT) examinations and physicals. Britt is married to Dustin; they are high school sweethearts and have four children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, painting furniture, gardening, and working out.
